Jim Risk Honored at NAED National Meeting

On May 5, 2017, The National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) honored Jim Risk, President and CEO of Kirby Risk Corporation, as one of four industry leaders who have made significant contributions to the electrical industry with NAED Annual Achievement Awards.

Jim Risk earned NAED's highest honor, the 2017 Arthur W. Hooper Achievement Award. This honor is awarded to an individual who has led an exceptional career in electrical distribution spanning many years. Jim has been a long-time leader within the electrical distribution industry through his involvement with NAED. He has attended meetings and conferences for 50 years, was a founding member of the Young Executives Today committee and has held numerous leadership positions including the board of directors, chair of the industrial committee and area chairman.

NAED is the trade association for the over $70 billion electrical distribution industry. Through networking, education, research and benchmarking, NAED helps electrical distributors increase profitability and improve the channel. NAED’s membership operates in more than 5,100 locations internationally.
